Submission Guidelines 

From the gifted: a gift.

We believe art and creativity possess healing powers and we want to share them with the world. We are more than just a magazine, we operate by a philosophy of serving others and giving them the tools to heal or even just experience momentary joy. 

We publish in the following categories:

Prose: fiction/non-fiction

Poetry

Photography

Art

Cartoons

Jokes

Games:Crossword Puzzles/Sudoku/find the difference etc...



Check out what we're looking for in each category:

Email your work at editorial@thekeenreview.com. Write "Submission" and your full name in the email header. In the body, mention your nom de plume (if any), include a short bio, your website if any, and social links you want the readers to connect with you through. We normally respond within 2-4 weeks.  

We are a non-profit magazine and we intend to forward all our profits to spread the message and healing powers of art and creativity to the people around the world-- read our mission statement.

With that being said, we do believe in compensating creatives for their work. Here's our contribution breakdown. 

Prose: $20 per written piece of 1,000 to 5,000 words
Poetry: $10 per poem
Photography: $5 per photo
Art: $20 per  art piece
Cartoons: $5 each
Jokes: $2
Games: $10
