Mission Statement

From the gifted: a gift. At The Keen Review we are dedicated to shining a spotlight on the creatives in various domains and sharing the gift of art with anyone willing to receive it.

We believe that art and creativity are forms of healing. Therefore, all profits from our magazine sales go to hosting art events, projects, and donations for as many people as we can reach, specifically the orphaned, elderly, young children in schools, those not fortunate enough to have reliable housing, victims of substance abuse, prisoners, and any individual or group suffering from PTSD.

We publish creatives who contribute prose, poetry, art, photography and more. We also host weekly, monthly, and yearly competitions with prizes ranging to $50 to $1,000. Our goal is to roll out a $10K artist of the year grant by 2022.
